The Moya African Glass Network presents Glass Safari 2026 — Past, Present, Future, closing showcase of its international glass-art biennale. Association of Arts Pretoria, 25 July – 15 August 2026. Free and open to the public. Live hot-glass demonstrations on opening day.
Echoes of Presence brings together Lothar Böttcher and Caitlin Greenberg at Alliance Française de Pretoria, 11 June – 6 July 2026. Two glass artists working from opposite ends of time — one capturing shadows and placing sculptural screens within South African landscapes, the other giving presence to the phrases we bury. Free and open to the public.
Glass Art & Design Paris presents Salon du Verre Paris14 with 30 international artists exhibiting from 9-12 October at Annexe de la Marie du 14e arrondissement.
Dirk van der Westhuizen is the main artist.
There are also new paintings by Zolile Phetshane, Willie Saayman, Cobus van Bosch, Luan Nel, Olaf Bisschoff and Anton Karstel.
Lothar Böttcher, acclaimed hard glass sculptor, is showing some of his sculptures.

From July 14 to August 8, 2025 SPARC*-Spazio Arte Contemporanea in Venice is hosting the group exhibition Fluid Matter – Humanature, curated by Mollified Venice.
Artefacts at the Pretoria Art Museum is a collaborative exhibition showing works by Lothar Böttcher and Caitlin Greenberg.
Both artists are known for their passion and specialised use of glass in their oeuvre. This exhibition does not specifically explore materiality and craft but rather investigates a spectrum of social narratives. Both artists examine inner voices, expressing personal dilemmas and philosophies, that invite visitors to experience the space through a fourth dimension – one
shaped by memory, emotion and embodied presence.
Moya African Glass Network (NPC) proudly presents its first group exhibition, Glass Now – African Perspectives, opening on 5 July 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Association of Arts, Pretoria.
FACETTEN – glasspool e.V. Members Exhibition opens 02 May 2025 at Schloss Buchenau, Germany.
The second Glaspreis glass competition and exhibition is hosted in the Glasmuseum Hadamar as part of the city’s 7th centenary celebrations.
