We are ancient meaning-making beings living in an accelerating world — and technology keeps shifting the ground beneath how we see. The Space Between gathers nine artists working across landscape, light, mythology, portraiture and the digital, placing their works in deliberate proximity so that meaning surfaces through association rather than instruction.

Lothar Böttcher shows cold-worked optical glass from his Apparatus and Anima enquiry, where light becomes the medium and the lens, screen and signal become the subject. Alongside Nhlanhla Nhlapo, Mfundo Mthiyane, Sarah Ballam, Daniel Solomon, AD-Reflex, Simon Venter, Karen Harkema and Anton Smit.
